Popper

My first review is probably the main reason why I started this blog. Popper by a Clever Twist. I love it. It is a simple game in concept. Shoot colored "pills" at similarly colored pills and make them disappear. (remember that old atari game "bricks?" It's kind of like that, but on steroids) Get rid of all the pills and move to the next level. That is the object. You must do it before your time runs out.

They have made each level unique with different shaped pills and different ways of getting rid of the pills. There are 10 levels and each level increases in difficulty. I have had the app for about 2 weeks and have only gotten to level 7 and I play it quit a bit. The use of the accelerometer is excellent and the music and sound effects are great. Actually the sound effects are strangely satisfying. I don't really know how to explain that any better. I just like it.

The Good:
Unique levels
Great use of the accelerometer
Excellent sound effects and music.

The Bad:
The aim is slightly off in a couple levels (hoping it will be fixed in the update)

Replay Value:
I have played this one A LOT! I have not completed all 10 levels, but I keep starting over each time I go out, and enjoy beating each level each time.

BOTTOM LINE:
This one is a keeper.

iPhone/iPod Touch App Reviews

This is my first iPhone/iPod Touch app review. I got my iPhone in December and I can't put it down. I am no expert in this world, I just know what I like and what I don't like. Many of my friends who I have convinced to get an iPhone or have gotten one anyhow have asked what my favorite apps are and why. I thought if I blogged about it maybe that would be helpful to send people here.

That being said, welcome to my review page, I hope it is helpful.
